The advent of large economical recession had shown unsustainibility of many grand master plans. The site of Parool Triangle is one of the examples. The plan of city municipality for complete demolition and redevelopment of the site had proven unrealistic and therefore a new strategy had to be developed. In the meanwhile the vacant site had been populated by young entrepreneurs, due to cheap rental prices of the empty spaces. The proposal is trying to draw quality from this new situation by proposing an economical model, where involved parties of entrepreneurs, municipality and outside investors would participate in reactivation of the site. The new program driven proposal of Idea Market is built around the idea of amending the quality of the incubators in the existing buildings by introduction of new volume providing extra functions enhancing their productivity. In this way the whole ensemble should be able generate capital, which can be later on invested in further redevelopment of the entire site.
